Summer 2014!

       Summer has started!  Sorry for the long hiatus I've been working ten hour days and it makes me tired.  Anyhow, it's nice to have a break from school, and I'm around friends who know about my sexuality and accept it, nice change from the usual.  I also broke down and bought Minecraft, I have been playing in creative mode though, I'm building a city.  It's taking forever.  As for this Memorial Day weekend I'm going to make pulled pork for my family, then hangout with my friends at the beach.
       I also passed all my classes this semester!!  Not with the best grades, but I passed, it means that I won't need to stay back another year.  Hope those of you in school had a good semester as well.  Have a safe Memorial Day, have fun too!

Finals, again

       Once again finals are upon us, or at least at my college.  They start next week, which means I get to relearn everything in all my courses because I have a horrible memory in remembering what I've learned.  It all kind of blends together after a few weeks, and the new stuff takes priority over the old stuff.  Anyhow, good luck to those of you still in school, study hard.

Awkward...

       I went to a small house party last night that consisted of a bunch of engineers that I know.  I was doing my usual conversation hopping from group to group, staying sober all the while.  It gets to the point where I am in a room with two guys, one guy that I've known for a year, we'll call him Leroy; and a kid I've met this semester whom we'll call Greg.  We were sitting and chatting when all of a sudden Leroy says "So Greg, how long have you been in love with Jessie?".  Welp, this is awkward.  Leroy spends a good 20 minutes trying to get Greg to ask me out.  Finally I just leave, and successfully avoid him for the rest of the evening.
       I find it to be somewhat cruel fate or whatever that the girl Greg happens to develop a crush on is a lesbian.  We'll see how this will play out in the next few weeks until finals are over.  Enjoy the spring!

Game of Thrones Season 4

       Game of Thrones Season 4 starts today!  Really excited about that, even though I don't have HBO.  Good show, I've learned how to separate it from the books since the plots kind of split off at certain points.  It's been really difficult to not spoil the show for any of my friends who don't read them.  Instead of watching it today, I will watch it next weekend, and focus my time to working on my three homework sets due on Tuesday, I'm sure many of you can understand.  Also this is the first week in a few months that I haven't had an exam, so that's good.  Well enjoy the warm weather and I'm going to try and get outside to enjoy it.

Recent World News

       So recently both The United Kingdom and the U.S. State of Michigan have legalized gay marriage!  So that's good, I'm sure you've heard about Crimea separating from Ukraine and joining Russia.  I don't really know enough on the subject to have an opinion about it.  I need to follow the news more.  When I lived with my parents we always watched the news, now at school I don't.  I try to follow it on the BBC, but I still miss watching it.  Also Game of Thrones season 4 starts next week!! I will enjoy that, even though I've already read the books it's still a good show.  I'll try and post in this next month, but exams and projects will be due, then it's finals.  Hope the snow melts and I want to see flowers soon.

High School Acquiantanes

       So one of my acquaintances from high school came out on facebook last night.  I read through the comments that were there, and people pointed out that her facebook relationship status was still with her last boyfriend.  Then even more interestingly her boyfriend posted something to the effect of: "Yes, my girlfriend is bi!!".  Wait, what's going on here?  I learned from another one of my friends that there was some drama about her falling for this one girl who was in a relationship with her brother.  So I do know that she is into women.  I guess this does show that sexuality is fluid, or can be.  I just find this whole scenario rather bizarre, but then again I've known that I'm a lesbian since 7th grade.  And it's warming up!! Enjoy the springtime!
